Exploration is key to almost everything I create, and following an impulse is the reason why most of my work exists. I tend to find myself attached to a type or method of photography for only a short amount of time, but I enjoy exploring its possibilities until the next obsession takes hold! The work you see here is almost entirely photographic with the exception of a few obvious photoshop tweaks. I shoot with a DSLR and use a combination of lenses, including a few homemade reverse-mount macro lenses (I like to get a bit hands-on).
My photography has as many different meanings for me as it does the reasons why I have created it in the first place. Whether it is simply to record a scene I know I would otherwise forget, or an experiment to capture an event that I couldn't witness in any other way.
